I graduated from Wilsonville High School in 2003. After graduating high school I began to work as an electronic component sales representative at Fry's Electronics. I specialized in CPU's, motherboards, networking, hard drives and other crazy gadgets in that department. I then left Fry's Electronics to work at Waterbirth International where he helped put a small non-profit organization on the world wide web and assisted in creating marketing pamphlets / brochures / programs / advertisements, contributing my html, photoshop and illustrator skills. During this time I learned how to use Mambo (which later turned to Joomla) which uses mostly php and css. After Waterbirth I went to Portland State University where I studied Marketing and Computer Science while being a server, bar-tender and barista part-time.
After which I got a job as a Corporate Account Executive for Zones, Inc. During my time there I worked with many 50-5000 seat companies to help consult, upgrade and integrate a large variety of different IT products such as Anti-Virus, Microsoft licensing, Adobe software, Servers, Workstations, Backups... Daily at work I attended different IT representative's hosted events where I tuned my knowledge on the various strengths and weaknesses of the products that are on the market today. While working at Zones, I got my ASP, VSP5, Microsoft, Autodesk and Symantec certifications.
Some time later I joined the web-hosting support team at Yahoo, I found I was a great fit there with all of my coding experience and retained the highest rankings in a wide array of metrics. I then joined my manager, from my time at yahoo, at Salesforce where our team was on the forefront of bringing Salesforce's triage team in house, then later joined the Mission Critical Success team at Salesforce and succsesfully attained the Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator and Developer certifications as well as learned how to code in APEX and Visualforce.
I specialize in all Microsoft and Adobe products such as Office and Photoshop. I am also experienced with Windows and currently use Ubuntu (on the server and desktop side) with experience in Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, C++, Bash and PHP. Currently I am focusing his work on freelance and contract projects.
